TAG`D can help equip and empower students to make responsible and informed choices about sex, healthy relationships and values. 

The TAG`D curriculum that will be used is the Focus on Relationships course (the Red Workbook), facilitated by Fanie Bolleurs, an experienced youth Pastor and founder of Kohin SA, which places youth counsellors and workers in schools throughout South Africa.

It is TAG`D `s dream to get 100 000 young people in South Africa to work through the curriculum and to commit to sexual abstinence. Therefore, it is part of the TAG`D organisation’s dream to include and TAG every teenager in our town, as part of the goal of 100 000.

We kindly request each parent to invest in your child’s life and relationships, by supporting him/her to take part in this life changing initiative! The course DVD sessions are in English, but the Red Workbooks are avaliable in Afrikaans and English.

TAG`D uses the traditional “Dog Tag” as an outer, visual sign of the student’s inner commitment to sexual abstinence before marriage. 

The TAG which they put on their clothes or hang around their neck is thus not just only a personal reminder of their own commitment, but also a public, visual proclamation of their commitment and choice to all their friends. 

Students will have the opportunity to buy their TAG’s immediately after the challenge-session, and will be permitted to wear it with their school uniform. 

The full colour TAG and magnet will be sold on site at a cost of R50. Although the TAG`s are not compulsory in order to complete the course, we strongly advise each learner to get TAG`D as a visual sign of their commitment. The amount of R50 can be paid to their register classes.
